Your California Privacy Choices
Last updated: August 17, 2026
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you specific rights over the personal information we collect through wgybsafety.com and our landing pages. We honor these requests through our parent company, M.C. Kimball and Associates, LLC.
Your rights
- Right to know and access. Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to.
- Right to a portable copy. Receive your information in a readily usable format.
- Right to correct. Ask us to fix inaccurate personal information.
- Right to delete. Ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. Direct us not to sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. Ask us to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide our services.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised these rights.
What we collect and why
- Identifiers and contact information (name, email, phone, district or organization) that you submit through our forms or email links. Used to respond to inquiries and schedule School Safety Audits and consultations.
- Internet and device activity (pages viewed, referring URL, browser and device type, approximate location from IP, clicks, scrolls, and session replay) collected through cookies and similar technologies. Used for analytics, site optimization, security and fraud prevention, and advertising measurement.
- Inferences drawn from the above for audience measurement and advertising.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through this website, and we do not sell personal information for money. Student data used inside the WGYB program is handled under separate district agreements, not through this website.
Third parties involved in our advertising and analytics
- Google Tag / Google Analytics for traffic and conversion measurement.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising measurement and audiences on Facebook and Instagram.
- Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising for behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Because these tools may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, you can opt out immediately by turning off analytics and marketing cookies:
We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser opt-out signals where our tools support them. Opt-out preferences are stored on the device and browser you are using, so repeat the step on each browser you use.
